There are values that should be transmitted to children and that you can only teach them through your example. Next we are going to talk to you about some actions that it is a good idea to instill in us since they are small; promote healthy eating and respect for nature.
Grow your own food
Build a vegetable box (or even a chicken coop), plant herbs or fruit trees, and allow your children to appropriate them. Ask them to choose the vegetables for a salad, collect the chicken eggs, and water the lemon tree. Connect the dots between food and table and, when possible, excludes large product retailers when producing their own organic products.
To appreciate nature and be a conscious inhabitant of this land, we need to spend time in nature.
Foster a love of learning
Teach your kids about chemicals, screen time, excess sugar, and how it makes you feel. Explain the difference between natural and synthetic products, and how what you eat, put yourself under your skin and how you spend your time really matters in life.
Celebrate the earth
Celebrating important moments is a great tradition to nurture, so why not celebrate the earth? Make an effort to celebrate Earth Day (April 22), Arbor Day (April 26) and World Oceans Day (June 8), and turn off the lights during Earth Hour. Raise awareness, make it habitual and enjoy it!
Your children will feel these days in their lives as important thanks to the celebration that you instill in them at home from a young age and in this way, they will be aware of the importance of good nutrition thanks to the earth and why they should take care of it forever!
