Below we will detail some of the most classic games and other more original ones so you can organize an unforgettable baby shower. All the games we present to you are very easy to organize, fun and do not require a lot of prior preparation.
Game 1: “Guess the size of the belly”
This is one of the most traditional games at any baby shower and ensures lots of laughter and a good atmosphere.
How to play: Gather the guests and place the mom-to-be in the center of the circle. Provide toilet paper rolls (or ribbon or yarn) to the participants. Each guest will cut a piece of paper or ribbon to the length they think corresponds to the circumference of the mom's belly. One by one, the guests will place their pieces of paper around the mom-to-be's belly. The one who gets closest to the measurement wins.
Variation: As a variation, you can have guests say one thing they like about the mom-to-be or one piece of advice for raising a baby for each square they cut out of paper.
Game 2: “Babbling”
In this game, you will test your guests' knowledge and mental agility.
How to play: Prepare cards with a list of scrambled words, all related to babies or pregnancy. For example: “atgaer” = crawl, “lañpa” = diaper. Distribute the cards among the participants along with a pencil. The goal is for them to rearrange the letters and figure out the correct word. The first guest to solve all the words wins!
To make the game even more interesting, you can offer a small prize to the winner. This type of game is not only fun, but also helps create a relaxed and participatory atmosphere.
Game 3: «Baby Memory»
This game is perfect for testing everyone's memory at the party, and it's also super easy to organize.
Preparation: Before the event, gather 20-30 baby items (diapers, bottles, pacifiers, etc.) and place them on a tray. Leave them in plain view for guests to memorize for a few minutes.
How to play: After guests have had time to look at the items, hide the tray and give out pencils and paper to participants. They have 4-5 minutes to write down all the objects they remember. Once everyone is finished, reveal the tray and check to see how many objects each person has guessed correctly. Whoever remembers the most wins!
Game 4: “Don’t say ‘baby’”
This is one of the most popular games at baby showers as it can be played throughout the party with minimal preparation.
How to play: Upon arrival, hand out 5 clothespins to each guest and tell them there is only one rule: they cannot say the word “baby” during the party. If anyone hears another guest saying “baby,” they can take one of their clothespins away. At the end of the event, the person with the most clothespins is the winner. It’s so much fun to watch everyone avoid the code word!
Game 5: “Who’s Who”
This game is ideal for creating a relaxed atmosphere and is perfect if there are people among the attendees who don't know each other well.
How to play: Ask your guests to bring a photo of themselves as a baby. When they arrive, hang all the photos in a visible place, numbering them. Guests must guess who each photo belongs to. The person who guesses the most photos correctly wins.

Game 6: “Dressing the baby”
If you're looking for a classic game, this is the one for you. Plus, it's perfect for both men and women.
How to play: Hand out two baby dolls, clothes (pyjamas, t-shirts, bodysuits, nappies, etc.) and have couples of guests compete to see who can dress the baby correctly in the least amount of time. The parents-to-be can be the judges to decide who did it best.
To increase the difficulty and make it more fun, you can blindfold the participants.
Game 7: «Baby Race»
This game is absolutely fun if you want to get everyone up and participating to the max.
How to play: Use toy strollers or prams and have a race where participants have to push a stroller with a doll or baby doll in it. Place obstacles along the way to make it more challenging. The first one to reach the finish line wins!
Game 8: «Baby Pictionary»
Based on the classic guessing game, this is perfect for unleashing participants' creativity.
