The Mother's Day It is celebrated on the first Sunday in May, that is, it is just around the corner. Many times we do not know what to give and, above all, if you are a child because you want to have a special detail with your mother and you do not have money. In this post I am going to teach you how to do this felt flower necklace and ring set perfect for this day and to do with the little ones in the house because it is very easy.
Materials to make gifts for mother's day
- Colored felt
- Scissors
- Glue or cold silicone
- A circular object
- Adhesive beads
- Cord or chain
- Ring holder
Procedure for making the necklace and flower ring
- To make this gift I am going to teach you how to make three different models of flowers that will adorn our necklace and ring.
- The first model it's very easy, you just have to trim a felt circle helping you with some object, I am going to use a roll of adhesive tape.
- Draw the outline on the felt and cut it out. Once you have it, you will have to cut it into the shape of spiral from the end to the center of the circle.
- Now, to form the flower, you just have to roll from the end to the beginning and put a point of glue so that it does not open. We already have our first model ready.
- To the second model you need a felt rectangle about 3 cm, but this is not important, because the flower will come out just as pretty.
- Cut the strip in the shape of waves and roll it up as we did with the first model, put glue and you will have finished this flower option.
- For third flower idea you need a rectangle a little wider than the previous one. Put glue on the bottom and fold it in half. Now go giving csmall orts without going all the way along the entire strip. Then roll up the flower and put on glue.
- To complete the necklace we have to make several flowers of all the models, according to our taste.
- La base will be an oval shape of green felt where we are going to glue all the flowers.
WE DECORATE THE NECKLACE
- We are also going to cut out two-tone green felt some leaves that will decorate our work.
- Before sticking them, place them on the base to see if you like the design and when you are sure, paste them.
- Then do the same with the flowers. Arrange them as the best result is.
- You can decorate some flowers by adhesive beads and they will be even more beautiful.
- Once you have the whole set formed, turn the necklace over and trim the excess of green at the base to prevent it from being seen from the front.
- Place on both sides a chain or cord that will help us to hang this jewel.
- And if you want to complete this job, you can make a ring matching by gluing one of the flowers to a ring base.
