Valentine's Day! is just around the corner and we always like to have a detail with the person we love. In this post I am going to teach you how to do this so original card, perfect to do with children at home and have a fun time with them.
Materials to make the Valentine's card
- Red card
- Colored eva rubber
- Glue
- Scissors
- Eva rubber punches
- Permanent markers
Valentine card making process
- To start, cut out a red cardboard rectangle. The size can be to your liking, depending on the size you want the card. Mine, specifically, measures 15 x 32 cm.
- Fold the cardboard in half.
- Now, draw freehand or with a template that you can download from the internet (if you are not very good at drawing) a basic heart. It does not matter that it is perfect, because the result will be just as beautiful.
- Once drawn, cut out the heart, but very carefully so that a piece of the left side is attached to the back so that we can open and close our card.

We decorate the cover of the Valentine's card
- To start, write with a silver or white marker the word "love" in the center of the card.
- Later I'm going to create flowers and leaves with my punches and colored eva rubber. If you don't have them, you can cut them out or put any ornament you have around the house.
- I will glue a leaf on each end, forming a kind of triangular structure, and then I will glue each white flower on top.
- To make the finish even better, I will put a shiny pearl in the center of each flower.

We decorate the inside of our Valentine's card
- For the interior, I have designed a scene with two chicks in the nest
- To start forming the chicks, cut out two yellow eva rubber circles with the help of a stopper or a compass. Mine have a diameter of 6 cm.
- We will also need two white circles, an orange triangle and a flower the color you like the most.
- Glue the circles on the face, because they will be the chicken's eyes. Then paste the beak and flower on the head.
- With black permanent marker, draw the pupils and eyelashes of the eyes.
- The wings I am going to draw them with a marker of the same tone as the flower that they carry on their heads as a crest. I'll make some waves on the sides.
- So we will have the two chicks already made.

- Place the two chicks on a piece of light or beige eva rubber and mark the two sides to define what it will be the nest. Then build a shape by joining these two points and cut it out.
- With yellow, orange and brown markers I am going to make the details of the nest so that they resemble the twigs and straws that make it up.
- We can now form the interior, gluing the chicks first and the nest on top.

- On the other side that is free I have placed a yellow heart and I have written the phrase "I love you." In the hole below you can put a personal and very nice message to the person you are going to give it to.

And so we have finished our Valentine's card. I hope you liked it and if you do, do not forget to send me a photo through any of my social networks.
And if you like cards, I leave you these ideas that will surely interest you. Bye!!
