The age to start practicing it
Does your child want to practice parkour and are you worried that he or she is not the right age for it? The physical and emotional maturity of the child is key to setting an appropriate age at which to start practicing pankour. If we speak generally, however, the recommendation is that Do not do it before the age of seven.
And although all children know how to jump, parkour requires precise jumps and reception techniques to cushion falls and prevent injuries. Therefore, attending introductory classes under the supervision of professionals trained to practice jumps and basic techniques is important. The training will also help them become familiar with protective equipment such as helmets, knee pads or elbow pads, equipment that we must provide them with.
